After high school I postponed going to art school so that I could live in New York. New York City was my first love and first long term relationship. Arriving at such a tender age of 18 meant I was open to what the city offered. Working full-time at Pearl Paint, engaging with strangers, dating evil co-workers, observing the bizarre world around me and having new adventures with friends is present in this drawing. It is also contained in the sculpture After High School I Moved to NY.
