In the sculpture Above Below and Beyond, the geological strata is manifested as physical supports to the surface that is the city. The city illuminates a miniaturization of the scene of the mugging as well as other memories and events that pertain to the narrative of the piece. The rocks below create a direct impact to the events transpiring above.
